Coming over from Chicago 6 year ago, Katie has been practicing yoga since her early 20’s and teaching for over 4 years. Receiving her 500 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training and Antenatal/Postnatal Exercise from YMCAfit and Yoga Professionals, was quite an achievement with three beautiful munchkins running around.
With a passion for healthy eating, she has also received a certificate as a Nutrition Specialist and loves to offer natural suggestions to balance one’s diet and increase vitality.
As if that wasn’t enough, Katie is a Youth Mindfulness instructor teaching Yoga classes and Mindfulness classes to children from the ages of 4 to 11.
Katie wants to inspire others to be their own teacher by listening to their bodies, coming back to the movements of their youth and help them to strengthen the mind/body connection.
